Samsung's mobile division makes more money than Google

eThese are numbers that are surprising. Thanks to a recent study by Asymco we learn that Samsung makes more money thanks to its mobile division than Google with Android, which owes much of its success to Samsung smartphones.

Google is best known for its search engine, but also for the Android operating system which is experiencing a growing success. Google makes money by selling Android with the license number of telephone operators. Samsung is the biggest seller of Android smartphones and it now earns more money than the income from the Android system.

Since Samsung launched its Galaxy range, income exploded. Asymco reports that the Samsung mobile division now generates more money than Android. Samsung has more than 58 million mobile phones shipped in the last quarter alone, the Galaxy the Korean automaker is well ahead of sales.

These figures represent all Samsung mobile that run on Android. Google wanted to make available its mobile system to all manufacturers who wished. But there is a quasi-monopoly in terms of sales of Android smartphones, to the point of view totally dependent on Google Samsung to maintain the exceptional growth of Android.
